First to Land

None of these fields has a VATSIM landing on record since January 2020. Fly to one and stop on it, and you're the first. The hub records your CID and callsign.

    How it counts

    1. Fly into the field: the hub must see you airborne (60 kt or more) within 25 nm of it.
    2. Stop on it: 35 kt or less, within 1.5 nm of the field. Fields close to another airport count only within half the distance to it.
    3. The first aircraft to do it gets the field. Spawning there, touch-and-goes, and slewing in don't count.

    Where the list comes from

Every open airport and seaplane base in the FAA's airport data (US and territories), checked against StatSim's logs of every flight to or from the US since January 2020 and each field's own StatSim page. Refreshed daily: fields the FAA closes drop off with the next cycle. List as of —, FAA cycle —.

    Caveats

Check your sim has the field before you go: private strips are often missing, and "In X-Plane" only covers X-Plane. A landing while the hub is offline isn't recorded; ask a VATFLOW admin to add it. StatSim only logs flights with a flight plan, so a field on this list may have had an unlogged visit.
