VATSMART
One page to monitor an event field, see the next 3 hours and know what to do. Advice only.
It never changes a program. Set rates on Airport TMU and issue ground delays from an FCA (FCA Builder / IDST).

EVENT OUTLOOK
Inspired by the FAA's SMART (Strategic Management of Airspace, Routes and Trajectories), which brings schedules, weather and capacity into one view about two hours ahead. Here the numbers come from the same code as Airport TMU (rate calculator, MIT per gate, Event planner) and the FCA Builder's MIT Monitor. Demand counts arrivals with a filed route to the field; ETAs over each gate fix come from the FCA Builder's engine (filed route through the STAR, climb profile, filed TAS corrected for winds aloft; ground flights leave in about 3 minutes or at a filed departure time within 6 hours), and landing is the rest of the route at 190 kt plus 1.5 minutes (calibrated on StatSim KMCO arrivals: downwind, base and final add track miles). Landings and holding are counted from the live feed while this page is open. Merge points expand each filed route back from its gate fix and compare the merged flow with the gate's share of the rate. Weather from api.weather.gov (US only). The PLAN tab is a what-if: it flies a planned bank of arrivals down the routes you set (ground speed 440 kt beyond 100 nm, 300 to 40 nm, 220 to 12 nm, 150 on final), lands them first come first served at the AAR and holds the rest at the gate fix after up to 3 minutes of speed control. The MAP tab draws suggested reroutes dashed (a CDR from the origin, or direct to the new STAR's entry fix). Runways and closed gates set under FIELD CONFIG stay in this browser and only change VATSMART's advice; the ATIS option reads the field's ATIS from the VATSIM feed, or the FAA D-ATIS (as on the D-ATIS page) when no VATSIM ATIS is online.
